Trip Plan
Banalata Tours & Travels welcomes you to the breathtaking Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, the world’s largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey begins early in the morning from Kolkata.
Packed breakfast will be served en route with a short refreshment break. By midday, you will arrive at Gothkhali Jetty, where our local guide will assist you in boarding the boat. Enjoy a scenic cruise through rivers Gomor and Durgadhwani before entering the Pitchkhali River, leading to our resort overlooking the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. Total Travel Time: Approx. 5 hours (Road: 3 hrs | Boat: 2 hrs).
2 PM :- Lunch.
In the evening, enjoy tea and snacks while watching a traditional Adivasi dance performance that beautifully depicts the culture, happiness, and struggles of tribal life in the Sundarbans.
Dinner will be served at 8:30 PM, followed by a cozy campfire (during winter season).

Carry sufficient cash, as network issues are common in forest areas and online payments may not work.

Carry clothes according to the weather. In winter, the temperature in Sundarban is 2–5°C lower than Kolkata. During summer and monsoon, the weather is mostly similar to Kolkata.
