Detailed Daywise Itinerary :

Trip Plan

Banalata Tours & Travels welcomes you to the breathtaking Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, the world’s largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey begins early in the morning from Kolkata.

Packed breakfast will be served en route with a short refreshment break. By midday, you will arrive at Gothkhali Jetty, where our local guide will assist you in boarding the boat. Enjoy a scenic cruise through rivers Gomor and Durgadhwani before entering the Pitchkhali River, leading to our resort overlooking the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. Total Travel Time: Approx. 5 hours (Road: 3 hrs | Boat: 2 hrs).

2 PM :- Lunch.

In the evening, enjoy tea and snacks while watching a traditional Adivasi dance performance that beautifully depicts the culture, happiness, and struggles of tribal life in the Sundarbans.

Dinner will be served at 8:30 PM, followed by a cozy campfire (during winter season).

Child Policy

  • Children from 1 to 4 years – Free of charge.

  • Children above 4 years and below 8 years – 50% of the adult charge.

  • Children above 8 years – Full adult charge applicable.

Things To Carry

  • Carry sufficient cash, as network issues are common in forest areas and online payments may not work.

  • Carry clothes according to the weather. In winter, the temperature in Sundarban is 2–5°C lower than Kolkata. During summer and monsoon, the weather is mostly similar to Kolkata.

  • Carry a camera to capture the beauty of nature and wildlife.

  • Documents are mandatory for all tourists. Indian tourists must carry valid ID proof. Foreign tourists require additional documents and permissions.

  • Wear comfortable shoes or sandals for boat safaris and forest visits.

  • Carry hats, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen for sun protection.

  • Maintain silence during jungle and boat safaris to avoid disturbing wildlife.

  • Do not litter or throw plastic in rivers or forest areas.

  • Avoid loud talking, shouting, or playing music during safaris.

  • Do not feed animals or try to attract wildlife.

  • Never step out of the boat or enter restricted forest zones.

  • Avoid wearing bright-colored clothes that may attract insects or animals.

  • Do not drink alcohol or smoke during jungle or boat safari.

  • Avoid touching plants, animals, or forest property.

  • The visiting points are subject to change as visits to various watchtowers depend on weather and tide conditions. However, all watchtowers and destinations mentioned in the itinerary will be covered.

  • The food menu may change based on availability.

  • Due to technical or other unavoidable reasons, the vehicle or boat may be changed to ensure the safety of our guests.
